This is the card that I have made for latest challenge on the Squigglefly challenge blog. The challenge this week is inspired by a song. The song I picked was Santa Claus is Coming to Town. The image I used is called Kris Kringle I love this image it reminds me of the photo stamp images. I felt like I wanted this card to have an aged look. So I just used Tim Holtz's Distress ink to color the image with the ink applicator. and then tore the edges. Then I used a part of an embossing folder on the bottom to show Santa flying thru the air.
the background is just designer paper. I then added a wee bit of glitter with a gel pen on the hat.. to give it just a little sparkle.

Love this- great technique- I love how you used the Distress Ink and distressed the edges.
I just love your vintage Santa and the beautiful distressed look you gave him. Beautifuly done with the sparkle dew drops. :)Peggy
I love this aged look. It looks good on Santa anyway.
What a pretty card with just a hint of color! I'm thinking I might need to go get this image even though I don't like to color.
