Welcome to my blog, I love to make cards, I use stamps and digital images. I love using dies and flowers and bling, Please join my adventures as I grow in card making. And I love to share my cards with you.
image is from great impressions, I stamped image in black archivers ink, And colored with tria markers. Then I put a mask over the jet, and using a stencil I did the clouds using blue ink. The image was layered on red then layered on birthday designer paper. then placed over light blue background paper. Then using the stencil I colored the white paper as a cloud back ground. The saying was stamped in red distress ink and embossed with clear powder. Using outline stickers the balloons and hat was added and colored with tria ink.
This card was created for the stamp something challenge. I used a Tim Holtz technique from his web site. Where you stamp with distress ink then you put perfect pearls on the stamped image with a brush. Then you spritz with water to let the color from the distress ink flow out. The stamps are from Tim holtz. the saying is from Quietfire designs.
This card was made for a Women I work with, she just graduated from nursing school. The stamp is a shy bear from I break for stamps, the sayings are from Santa rosa stamps, and The other one is unknown.
This stamp is from treehouse stamps, I stamped her on White paper with black embossing ink. and colored her using twinkling h2o.
still playing with this image, I stamped up a bunch of these for the kids at church to make mother's day cards, and I had some left overs, the bear is colored with tria markers, the background is just stamped with a tri colored inks and I added a piece of designer paper across the middle.
This is a card I made for a lady, I work with. She lost her Mother the day before Mothers day. I also decided to make it to fit the penny black blog challenge.
The stamp is from Cornish heritage farms, It is one of their Saturday Evening Post stamps. This stamps are just way too cool. I stamped her in brown, and colored her with the tria markers. The technique on the frame is from technique junkies, it is called torn frame. I chose a paper that has two different shades of paper on the front and the back. To do the torn frame you use a distressing tool to help separate the papers, Tear the frame so it is the size you want. then I distressed it some more using brown ink.
This is the birthday card I made for my Son, he is turning 16. So for a boy, this is as close as I could get to a sweet 16 card.
The stamp is by a whiff of Joy, I stamped her on white paper. The paper is from paper temptress, I love it, it is called Cryogen white, it just sparkles. I used the nestablities round and the next size larger scallop. The background was done with a technique junkies technique. You take a piece of card stock that is straight and use it like a ruler. Then you use a sponge and just drag the colors from two different die inks.. Then I had to have some flowers. I did not have any that matched so I used white and colored them with the ink. Then I added the enjoy your birthday, that is also one of the new nestiblities.
