Just a Little Cake

This is another really fun card, made with items you can purchase at Classy Cards'n Such.
The items from the store that I choose to use on this card are
Mouse Carrying a Cake from Stampaive
Labels Twenty  from Spellbinders
Teardrop Circles from Spellbinder

Other supplies
Pink, white and brown paper
designer paper
bling on a roll
Memento black ink
Copic markers
double stick tape
Spellbinder die  twenty three
Glitter pen
metal dots

This is a fairly simple card to make.. I stamped the Mouse Carrying a Cake on White paper and colored
with Copic markers.  Then cut the image out with Spellbinders label 23.  Then ran a copic pen around.  The outside of the die cut.  Then Mounted this on designer paper with was cut with labels twenty.
I made the flowers using the smallest circle from the teardrop circles. and while it was still in the die put a dot on it with copic marker.  Then added the metal dots to the center and the lower left corner an added the bling on the roll on the other side.

Please don't forget to enter in the Challenge blog.. This is a great way to have some fun.

WE CAN DO IT! BLOG CANDY!

Today's card is made with an image from the Scrapbook Stamp Society.  The image is called We Can Do IT.  By Sherri Baldy.  I love this image yes this is her version of Rosie the Riveter.  My Son told me Mom  you colored her wrong she should be blue with a Red hat.  Well so mine is pink with a blue hat.  I love the image.  The die I used is from Spellbinders and it is called Romantic Rectangles.  Word of advise if you by this set and have a cuttlebug, like I do The largest one is just too big unless you have the expansion plates and does not cut we.. Thus the ribbon on the bottom.  The bling is from Michel's and I love this new set they have that is more like glass then like sparkly bling.

Now for the Blog candy.. We are going to make this fun.. You will win a free image from Scrapbook Stamp Society
all you need to do is leave me a comment telling me your favorite image from the Scrapbook Stamp Society.
This is the start of my celebrating my 10,000 visit to my blog.

Stop and Smell the flowers.

this Card was made using a sketch drawn for the Classy Cards N Such Challenge.
This is my view of it I took and turned it in the other direction so I would use the stamp I wanted to use.
Supplies you can pick up from Classy Cards N Such  are
Mini Flourish One die cuts from Cherry Lynn Designs
Sofia Wishes ,Stampavie Sarah Kay stamp
Hearts embossing folder from Crafts too
other supplies
purple paper
white paper
light purple paper
bling
copic markers
black Memento ink
clear glue
corner rounder
double stick tape

cuttlebug

I started by stamping Sofia wishes with my black ink and coloring her with copic markers.
I embossed the rose quartz paper with the hearts embossing folder.. this folder gives a really deep emboss.
Then I cut out the flourish  on the dark purple paper.  I find to get the best cutting with Cheery Lynn designs in a Cuttlebug you need the Cuttle Hug  This is a piece of thin metal that adds just the correct amount of extra thickness needed for the Cherry Lynn designs dies. Your Sandwich is A plate, B plate die cut side up, paper, cuttle hug, C plate. This is to cut it out to do the embossing which we all love you do the following
A plate, B plate,  die, embossing mat, cuttle hug, B plate.
Then I layered the card starting with the dark purple then the hearts then the light purple and my image.
Then I glued on the Mini Flourish and added some bling on it and also in the lower corner of the light purple.
I hope you enjoyed my version of this sketch .
thanks
Debbie

A little Birdie told me

I love this little image She was just fun and easy to color.  The Card was made for the the Classy Cards N Such Blog.
I want to let you know what fun items I used to make this card  that came from the Classy Cards N Such Store.
Supplies
Swedish Spring Oval Frame Cheery Lynn Designs
other supplies
peite oval small Spellbinders die
blue paper
pink metallic
white paper
double stick tape
Copic markers
Cuttle bug
glue dots

I have been eyeing the Swedish spring Oval Frame, for a while I would go and look at it and say that is so pretty.
and then not buy it.. I wish I had gotten int a long time ago.  It is how we say awesome.  This is a must have as part of your Cheery Lynn collection.
It takes some time to get all the pieces out of the holes.. my friend Sue uses toothpicks, I use a T-pin.  So anything small and pointed will work.  I love the detail in this die.

The sandwich I make for the Cheery Lynn dies with the Cuttle bug is to cut it out A plate, B plate, die cut side up, paper, cuttle hug, C plate.
to Emboss ,  A Plate, B plate, die, embossing mat, cuttle hug, B plate

I Then embossing the light colored metallic paper with the Scroll works  embossing folder and then layered. Putting it together with double stick tape.
