naughty # 2

this is another card I did today with firecraker design stamps. I cheated on this one and used designer paper of course I added glitter to the snow balls

a naughty christmas card

This card was made for a challenge on a yahoo group, for ranger products. The background was made by using glossy paper, alcohol inks, gold paint and a can of air. I put drops of the alcohol ink onto the paper and used the can of air to blow the ink around. after it was dry I stamped on it with white embossing ink and covered with white embossing powder. The background stamp is from cornish heritage farms and the rest of the images are from fire cracker designs.

the technique I used for this card if from the December 2009 newsletter. You put a couple of colors of distress ink on your non stick craft sheet, then you mist it with glimmer mist. You then rub your paper in the ink and glimmer mist mixture. Then you let it dry. To do this card I put the paper through the cuttlebug with the embossing folder..
Then I highlighted it with one of the same colors of distress ink. The image is from cornish heritage farms.
the ribbon is a Christmas ribbon I picked up last year at Michael's. I colored the image with Tria and copic markers. I layered it onto a cream/ gold sparkely paper. and then onto a red piece.. the card black was stamped repeadedly with the a holly stamp from I break for stamps

dancing snowman

another Christmas card, so far I have over 20 made.. not sure how many to go... trying to keep them simple this year.
The stamp is from Cornish heritage farms. If you have never ordered from them they are great. The stamps are mounted on cling mount.. that sure saves you some time.
Paper is from paper temptress. and of course I used my cuttlebug embossing folder and the nestibities oval.
thanks

stamp is from I break for stamps, the shy bear .. I colored the bear with tria markers, then I used accent to make the fish bowl all shinny .. which you could see it.
thanks

dancing snowman

This card was made using cornish hertiage farms stamps. It is a very easy card to do. All you need is three different colors of ink for the back ground and do random stamping.. you can stamp over the images if you want. Then I added a blue snowflake ribbon. and mounted on blue paper. the blue layer was mounted on a white card stock with snowflakes stamped in blue. The image was cut out with the oval nestiblites and a mounted on the scallop nestiblites. Then the saying was put on the label nestiblites. and highlighted with blue..
