Fairy Day dream

This card was made using an image called Tiny Fairy from Squigglefly
The artist for the image is Fawn Palmer.  She really draws some very fun images.. You realy need to check them out.  This card is for the Squigglefly Square challenge where you need to make a card using at least 2 Squares.. so Of course I did a Square card using 6 squares.  guess it is called over kill.
I colored the image with copic markers and used one of the new Spellbinders Square dies to cut her out.  Then I glittered the wings  The flowers are old paper ones and the swirls are from Memory Box.    And the designer paper is a set I found in my stash.
Make sure you visit the challenge.  This is easy so play with me.
Thanks
Debbie

With sympathy

This card was made for a dear friend of mine who just lost her Mother.
The corner flower is a really fun new image from Scrapbook Stamp Society called Digi Stand Sakura by Mitzi
And the Saying came from a sympathy set on Squigglefly called Sympathy sentiments by  Michelle Bertuzzi.
I cannot tell you how many times I have used this set.  but it seems they have a perfect one for every person.
The dies are from Spellbinder and I used the new sets Marvelous Squares and Floral Ovals. The corner dies are from Cheery Lynn Designs Lace Corner Deco C.
The flowers were colored with copic markers.
I used a scissors to cut around the inner edge of the flowers so I could insert the square behind the flowers. I really like how this turned out will do this again.

You are Not 29?

I know you guys know I love the Sally images from Squigglefly.  I Love this one.. and I just think it is a great one for birthdays.. the image is called Sallys Uhoh moment The artist is Cheryl Alger.  This  saying on this card is one I made up.  I colored Sally with copic markers then cut her out.  The background is stamped with a birthday stamp.  using 2 different shades of distress link.. then I used the same shades to  distress the edges.  I am still seeing if there is a way to get both edeges of the embossing colored.. but trying to get them two different colors like I wanted no so easy.
The Squigglefly challenge this week is to make a musical card.. so I added the music ribbon and if you notices the notes in the background like people are singing happy birthday ...
Thanks for stopping by ... and I hope you give the Squigglefly challenge a try.
Today is the last day 10/15/12 to leave a comment to be entered into the drawing I am having for blog candy.

Even the Ghosts

This card was made with another great image from Sqigglefly,  You can find such fun and orginal art here.. This image is called Ghost frankenstein by Denise Chemmensen.  Now I have to tell you I am not a big Halloween decortating type person.   But I have had some fun making these card this year.  I Loved that this gut was so easy to cut out and so you could do so much with him..
I cut him out then mounted on black paper.   The staying is an old stamp from Stamp Oasis.. Long gone out of business.  The corner dies are from Cheery Lynn Designs and the rest of the dies are spellbinders..   I have been playing with trying to get a distressed look on the inside emboss of the spellbinders dies.  just to make them stand out more...
The Designer paper is from Michael's
Thanks

I guess because they remind me of me as a kid with the big glasses, but my  Glasses were not nearly as cool.  All the image were colored with copic markers and cut out .  The embleshment's are all from Michel's.
This image is called Eleanor and Pickles Lil Devils  I will also give you a close up of the image.

The next on  on the can is called Eleanor  and Pickles Batty Bats

fall leaves

This card is called Fall Leaves by Kim Gwin.  I colored it with copic markers .
The Dies are from Spellbinders and Cheery Lynn Designs.
I love the fall ... I love the tempitures in Las Vegas in the fall it feels so good after the long hot summers.  But the one thing I miss in my 30 years here is the fall colors.  In Las Vegas the leaves just turn yellow the only color then brown and fall off.. in like a few days.
So you can look forward to  many more fall cards..
Make sure you stop by on the 9th .. I am celebrating my Birthday with candy...
Thanks
Debbie

Mr Jack Pumpkin

Had some fun crafting this weeking.. this is one of my fun new images from Scrapbook Stamp Society, this one is called Pumpkin Man by Sherri Baldy.  It so reminded me of the fruit of the month images..   I colored him with copic markers.  The dies used on this are from Spellbinders and Cheery Lynn Design.  I took and cut the leaf swirl apart and glued it on to make it look the the vines are wrapped around the image.
The designer paper is from a seasonal set of paper from Michael's.
Happy OCT

Comfort and Joy

Squigglfly is having a teal, pink and white challenge, two of the three colors I would never have thought of mixing.. but guess what I like it.  The Image is called Comfort and Joy Carolers by Lynne Stansbery.  Doesn't she do some fun images.  I have to say she is one of my favorite artists at Squigglefly.  Make sure you take a look at her other images.  So much fun and so many choices.
I colored the images in mostly pink and teal but I did add some other colors.  The snow falling is from my gellyroll glitter pen.  The snow on the lamp and at the feet is Sparkly Fluff Sugar.  I use Glossy Accents to hold it on.  The dies are from Spellbinders. and the Merry Christmas is from Cheery lynn Designs.  The background was a Cuttlebug embossing folder,  To get the size I wanted ..I put the card thru twice.  Then I used some Versemark ink and tried to emboss with white embossing powder.. I just wanted the snowflakes to be embossed white..but I liked the effect so kept the background.  Hope you  join in on the challenge  and give this color combo a try..

Thanks
Debbie
