Squigglefly floral challenge

This weeks squigglefly challenge is a floral challenge.. all you need to do is use a squigglefly image and some flowers..
The image I choose to use was a saying,   May your Day bloom with happiness and I also used the flowers set .
I have to say I love the flowers set.. the lines are so bold you can do some great stuff with them
To join the Squigglefly challenge.

The Top card I decided to just use Designer paper and die cuts.. The designer paper is the five dollar pad you can buy at Wal-mart.
Now I can tell you it is cute and nice paper .. I was suprised.  The die cut is spellbinders Peite oval.  Then I added some buttons, and ribbon.. a great card for when you need to do more then one.

Now the second card is one of my favorites.

on this I used the squigglefly flowers set, and the bloom saying
techinique from Technique Junkies call Vellum sentiments
the copic markers are
YG63, YG61, YG95
R08, R01
YR07, YR24, YR21, YR02
Y38
spellbinders dies
classic scallop square
Labels 2

metal stickers red nailheads and flowers from Prima
the background paper is designer paper

I colored the Suigglefly image with the copic markers and then cut it out using labels 2, then I took a piece of vellum and cut it out using lables 2.  The vellum I put thru my Xyron machine.  this is the best fix  for your adhesives not showing that I have found.   When you put your vellum thru the printer.. set it aside so it can dry..otherwise it might smear.
I turned the classic square so it has a diamond shape.. layered and
there is the card..
thanks for visiting.. and do not forget to enter the challenge.

This card was make for a quick birthday card, The image is from Cornish Hertiage farms, which has gone out of business.
I took some destress inks and using a sponge.  I covered a sheet a paper, I then used my stampers helper and rubbed it on the  paper
The next step was to ink the stamp with  clear embossing ink then  embossed using black embossing powder.
Then just layered the image and added flowers.. and ribbon..

aged to perfection

I decided after the birthday invitations that I need to take a break for coloring.. needed to do something different.. I choose to do a Technique Junkies, technique called  neutral shadows.    What you do is stamp an image with versa mark ink,  Embossing with white embossing powder and then using a small stipple brush you stipple around the image..
After doing that I used the oval die cut and mounted on a scalloped die cut.. this was mounted.. on embossed paper.. Then I added a ribbon and some flowers

I had an order for party invitations, from the Princess and the Frog Disney movie.  If you ever need images for something like this just google free Disney coloring pages.. you can copy these and print..   That took care of an image I could not find anyplace.  Next I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out with an oval diecut, then mounted it on a beaded oval die cut.. this was mounted on an embossed paper then I layered on the bottom a Birthday party stamp.

The Matching birthday card was just the invitation with som small changes..

This Card  was made for the Squigglefly Blog Challenge,  where the main colors are to be orange and red.  I think I managed to go that.
