The Image for Sassy dunce is a digital image from Squigglefly, my favorite digital stamp company.  I printed this image on the Heavenly White paper,   Since Las Vegas is so dry  I did not need to heat set the ink. but depending on your location or the amount of humidity in the air you might need to  heat set the .
The image was color with Copic Markers,  I wanted the hat to stick outside of the oval die cut. so I carefully trimmed the sides of the hat so the part I wanted to be outside of the die cut could be put over the cutting blade.  I read about doing this in the Technique Junkies newsletter.
The scalloped oval was made using  Sparkle Abysse paper. from Paper Temptress
The background was made using a piece of Heavenly White paper that I just scribbled different shades of yellow and blue watercolor crayons from Stampin' Up' ,  I then wet a paint brush and blended the colors together.  After the paper was dry, I embossed the background paper with, the Cuttlebug embossing folder  for birthdays.  The raised embossed images was highlighted using  Adirondack Red Pepper ink.
I took some of the Red Pepper ink and put it on a dry paper towel and lightly dabbed it around the Sassy -dunce image.
on a scrap of Heavenly white I stamped the saying from Penny Black It's your Birthday, with memento Tuxedo Black.
This was cut out using the same mega oval set as the main image did.
The card was mounted on plan white card blanks. that are 5 X6.5  that can be bought at Michael's.

fall birds

The main stamp on this card is from Stampendous..
I used distressed ink to color the heavenly white paper from Paper Temptress.
to do this I used the Tim Holtz application tool.. it is a must.. you start off the paper and work in so you do not get little square spots..
 the corner stamp is unknown.
I stamped the Stampendous stamp in Mementos black and the sun corners in Mementos brown
then added ribbon a square charms
thanks

Cat on the moon

The stamp is from  Sweet Pea stamps.. love her stamps so fun.. and at great prices
I colored the stamp with Copic markers and used the Spellbinders deckle edge  die cuts to cut it out.
the background is designer paper
Thanks
Debbie

A little note

The stamp company is a crafters companion , and  the saying comes with the set.  I colored this with copic markers  and just trimmed around the stamp.. the same with the background..
for the background I used an embossing folder.. but I do not know the company.. and used a techique junkies, technique called cuttlebug highlight.. I went over the embossing in black to make it look more like music notes.
And cut out with a round scalloped spellbinders die cut..
then mouned on designer paper and added fowers..
thanks

leader of the kids

I used two different stamp compies on this card, the one in the foreground is from Stampavie, it is a Mo Manning stamp.  And the stamps in the background are from sweetpea.
The background was done by randoming stamping the two stamps in different colors or inks.
The Mo Manning stamp was colored with copic markers.. When I saw this stamp I knew who it was going to be for,  It so reminded me of this lady at church ...I mouned on oval die cuts and layered..
thanks

the card was made for my Aunts funeral

a little bird told me

This is a birthday card that I made from one of my newest stamps. The stamp is from Stampendous.
and it is a fun versital image.. and you really do not have to color it.. which sometimes is just what I need.  Since I had by distress inks out I
just kept going on this and blended the inks.. then tore the edges.. then inked with dark brown to give it a torn look
then trew on some bubble stickers and Of course used embossing folder in the background
Thanks

a little steam punk

This card was designed for my Daughter's bestest friend...  This is just a little out there.. So I pulled out some stamps I bought at the last
stamp convention from Rubber Cafe.  I have not done this style in a long time.. so I went to town trying for collage/ steam punk...
I took white paper and use all different colors of tim Holtz distress inks. and blending pad and stamped and colored.. this is what I came out with .. the paper is from paper temptress..

Wedding Bliss

It is time for another Squigglefly, creation.  This week the Challenge on Squigglefly's blog is texture,  Since I needed a wedding card,  I choose that as my theme choice.  I went back to a layout I had done prior to this  on splitcoast call  center step card.
My image from Squigglefly is called Wedding bliss.  I colored this with Copic markers.  The texture I added was with embossing the paper and  adding ribbon and bling.
Visit the Squigglefly  Blog and join the challenge.

A birthday hoot

I am back from Vacation, and I had a great time. We went to visit family in WY.   I Truly enjoyed  the cooler weather, it felt so nice.
Now if I an just get my mojo back from vacation and back to creating work.
This is the first card I have done since I came back, the image is from Stampendous and it is called Blockart owl/flower.  I so could have named it better.. I colored the image with copic markers.  Then added a little stickels for just a we bit of bling the background is an embossing folder flower that I used a marker on to highlight the rasied part.

Cute story Time

This is another Squgglefly image , called Cute Story Time , I just think the image is fun.  The Challenge  at http://squigglefly.blogspot.com/
was to either write or doodle or draw on a card.. My handwriting is horrible, my drawing is worse  so I settled for trying to make it look stitched.  The image was colored with copic markers and I used nestiblities labels for the shape.   Be looking for a blog candy to be announced soon.
