Huckleberry Hound he ain't

This image this card was made from is from Squgglefly and is called Bandana-Doggie.  The artist name is Louise Gardner.  The card was made from the Pink and Blue challenge this weed on the Sqigglefly challenge blog.  The card was colored with Copic markers.  And brought back my memories of a cartoon dog called Huckleberry Hound.  So In honor of Huckleberry, I colored him blue. and layered him on a Pink oval which was layered on blue.  And as I continue on my quest to teach myself how to make my own flowers.  I used the rose mini, medium and large dies from Cheery Lynn to create my flowers. The corner pieces are also from Cherry Lynn. The nail heads are from Heidi Grace.
Ok now jump in and pick your favorite Squigglefly image and do a pink and blue card.

flower girl

This is such a fun image, and it is a little more complicated then a lot of the images I pick, but the challenge was good for me.  The image is from Scrapbook Stamp Society .
The image is called  Fairy Child  , by Morgan Fitzsimons.  The image was colored with copic markers and first cut out using a large petite oval spellbinders die and then mounted on a rectangle Spellbinders die.  Then layered on designer paper and layered  again on pink.  The flowers are Martha Stewart. and the bling is from Michaels.
I hope you will give this image a try.. Thanks for stopping by

3-D card art

This card was made for the classy card 3-D Challenge,  I used something different on this card.
I used a kit that is sold at  classy Cards N such   I  saw this in a magazine and thought they were so pretty
that I had to give this a try.
the kit I used was the Easel 3D Card Floral mirror design set 1,  Then  I also needed to dress it up a little bit so I used a Cheery Lynn Exotic Butterfly mini, and the Cheery lynn Lace corner deco A
Then I added some small pearls and glue .. to do the raised effect i use mounting tape.
This is a real simple and easy kit to work with.. and they leave you some space to make the card your own.
or just leave it as it came from the kit.. it is great either way.
Make sure you show me your 3D art work and join in the challenge.
thanks

Am I Having Fun Yet?

This is such a fun image from Squigglefly , and it is named Am I having fun yet , by Lynne Stansbery.  I made this card for my Mother who had knee surgery today.  As a sort of a fun get well card.  The type of surgery she had involves a lot of post surgery physical therapy.
Any way I colored the image with copic markers and used flower soft to make my bubbles.
I used small and large peite oval spellbinder die cuts. and the background is the m-bossiblities folder from spellbinders.. and then the border die is from Spellbinders also..
I hope this card made you smile
Thanks
