Thank you

My Sister Sheila just lost her husband of 42  years to Cancer.  She requested I make her some thank you cards.  I used a photo of a painting Larry did, as the background of the card and added a digital thank you to it..
then just layered the image.. as I wanted to keep this simple.  Larry  you will be missed.

Fruit of the Month for October

This is another of the fruit of the Month series, from Scrapbook Stamp Society.  at the time I did this blog post .. this still had not been added to the catalog since the image is so new.  I colored the image called October Orange with copic markers.. I think I broke all the rules for color blending when I blended red and orange.. then green and orange.. but hay it worked.. so bend those rules.. you never know what might happen.   The Miss October is a computer sayingThe background is a technique from Technique junkies called double bugging.   The flowers are from Michaels.  and the butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch.
Make sure you go and check out all the fruit of the month images when they become available.
thanks
