Adopt the pace of Nature

This card was made for the squgglefly Challenge.. which was rounded corners.  The image I choose to use for the challenge is called Patience Secret by Cheryl Alger.    I colored the image with copic markers.  This is a great set it comes with the saying, the pot of flowers of course the main image and one more a chick, that I did not use on this card.
To make this card I took a round spellbinders die and did a parital cut leaving the bottom portion. Then I used another die, oval and did another partial cut leaving the circle out of the die.  Then I used an old Technique junkies technique which is called rolled corner. I added come glossy accents to the lady bug and the corner die is one of the new ones from Spellbinders.
Thanks for stopping by.  Make sure you show us your corners.. make them round please.. and you could win a great Squigglefly image.  At the Squigglefly challenge.
Thanks

Messy Bessy

I started this card on Mother's day.. I colored her cut her out.. then cut out the die.. and nothing, I could not think of anyway to finish her up.  I would pick it up then set it down.. I had some new packs of paper laying on the table and saw one and said that is it.. and was able to finish the card today.
The image is from Scrapbook Stamp Society and is called Messy Bessy.  I colored her with copic markers.. and layered her on a die by Marianne creations.  The  other die is from Crafty Ann.. a new company that I bought some of their dies.. so far I really  like them, great detail.  The flowers are from Wild orchid. and the paper from the dollar bin at Michael's.  This card was made for the flower challenge at Scrapbook stamp society

Anything is possible

Welcome to the Outlawz anything goes paper ala mode challenge.  Today I chose to make my card with an image from Squigglefly  called Patch cat The artist is Dawn Collins.  The paper is a 6 X6 packet that I picked up at Michael's in there dollar rack.  I colored the image with copic markers and just cut him out and put him on an oval die cut.  Then added a swirl die from memory box and a metal flower.
My husband got to love men, looked at the card and said cute but what does it mean.  I told him a blue cat that means anything is possible.. so I wish you all the possibilities for a great future..
and lets send our prayers to the storm survivors in OK.

Happy Birthday

Today's card was made for the Besties Birthday card challenge.. I was in the mood for just a simple card.  Because everycard does not have to be overdone and full of flowers.. sometimes simple is good.
The Besties image I used is Mable Rose I colored her with copic markers and jus layered her on paper and added a Memory box die on the side and Cheery Lynns Happy Birthday dies.  and then used the liquid pearls to add some dots..  then a button.. sweet and simple.. but it really appeals to me..
Thanks for stopping by and do not for get to enter your card in the Besties challenge.

Garden Delight

This week the challenge for Squigglefly was to make a pocket card. The images I choose to play with is from a brand new Squgglefly artist Pamela Lehto.  I am excited to be able to show you some of her wonderful art.  I choose to combine two different images. the Flowers are called Daisies and these very cute bees are called Bee Set.
I colored the images with copic markers  the bees I added stickles to the wings and cut them out with Spellbinders circle dies.  The daisies also were cut out with an oval spellbinders die and colored with copic markers..

Pocket cards are really easy to do.. just get you two 3 pieces of paper and then cut and layer leaving the top edge unsealed.
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to seeing your version of the pocket card.
and as always thanks for stopping by .

Fairy Dust

Hi, today's card iswas made with a fun image that you can find at Scrapbook Stamp society called Fariy Dust .  This is an awesome image by Morgan Fitzsimons.  I colored her with copic markers.. my color choice was due to the background paper..
don't you just love it. This was done with white glossy paper  and Versemark ink and chalk ink and a brayer.
You stamp on your glossy paper with versemark ink then you brayer over it with one color of chalk ink.. leaving some white spots then you brayer over with a second color filling in the white .. and over the other color... then you whip it with a paper towel... looks cool.. now I picked my colors because I only have the two colors of chalk ink.. so time to buy more... The die is from Spellbinders..   the image was colored with copic markers.. and the dots are pearl drops by ranger..
