I used a stencil and sprayed it  prima color blooms vintage gold... it really showed up on the dark paper... I also added the frantage to the front and some tonic pearl paint...  and also used a stamp on the paper in the background...

mixed media fairy journey

Today I am sharing a card made with one of Sherri Baldy's new images...  the image is a Tinker Doll Besties img 097.  I colored the image with copic markers... and then I used a stencil on the side with some purple paint... just to see what it would look like ... I colored the image with copic markers..
to make the background I took some mixed media paper from Ranger.. and covered it with gesso.
then I painted over it with a bright green paint...   then I took the same stencil that I used on the  Tinker doll image... and put it randomly all over the  green paper...
then I thinned down some pink paint and used the flower garden stencil from Sherri Baldy  you can just see it in the back ground very faintly .  Then I Added another stencil with textured paste... then this dried I colored it over with  sparkly teal paint, purple paint and  flat pink paint
you can kind of see the sparkles on it here... then I added some stickles to the center of the flower and the dots on the outside...
The next step was to  trim it and layer it on some  purple and green paper...

hi
Sharing a card today I made with the image Steam punk Fluffy Bestie... I hope you are loving these images as much as I am... they are so much fun to color
I colored this image with copic markers... then did a tear around the image...
the background is more mixed media I Have been playing with
On this background... I started by painting the cardstock with white Gesso ... then I added stencils and used distress ink to color them with ... I also used silver past and gold past... the stencils were from lots of different companies...
But you know me had to add some dies... and the butterfly die is from spellbinders and the I cut  it apart the flourishes that are behind my image was attached to the butterfly
the small purple flowers are from a border die from Tattered lace
the corner dies  are from Cheery Lynn designs.. I cut these twice in two different colors and but some of the pieces back into the die from the other color...
please let me know if you like the mixed media looks... I am having fun playing with this...
