A little Birdie

Today I am sharing a card I made for the outlawz challenge .  the image I used is called birds and roses   I colored my image with copic markers and cut it out using a tonic die... then I used a die from Tattered lace... and cut it twice since it was just a wee bit to small... I mounted it on some designer paper and added some nuvo drops.... kept it really simple...

Christmas Wreath

Today on Paper ala mode the challenge is Christmas in July ... Our sponsor this week is QKR.. and the image I choose to use is called  Winter Moose...   I colored the moose with copic markers and cut him out and added a foam pad so the moose would add demintion .  The Wreath die is from Tonic and the decorations are from tonic... the Tree and Merry Christmas is from Courture creations...
I think I should have added some bling to the card... and maybe some snow... might go back and add that .. if I do I will add it to the post...

angel Hugs

Today I am sharing a card I made the the Besties Blog.... I colored my image with a combination of Copic markers and Gel pen... the die is from Frantic stamper...
the die was  cut out and then I took the inner die cut and put it thru an embossing folder on deboss... then I sanded off the pink part of the paper ... leaving only the debossed portions colored...

shaped card

Today for the Besties Scrapbook stamp Society Challenge... we are doing shaped cards.. I made my card with image iMG179,, this is one of the new images... I had fun making this card... I took a 6 X 6 card blank... and used the largest Circle from my Tonic Circle set... it is just a little smaller than 6 inches... to make a shaped card you just line up your die... so  on the seam of the card it does not cut... and run it thru your die cut machine... I used a scalloped circle from tonic and another torn look circle from Tattered lace...  my vines and flowers are from tonic lace and the butterflies are from Cheery lynn... I also used distress ink on the card and it does not show up in the photo but glitter pens on the flowers.

vintage rose and butterfly

today  on Paper ala mode  our challenge is foil it ... we want foil or metallic papers used on the project ... the papers can be any color.... one of the ongoing trends this year is foils...
our Sponsor is Crafts and me and my image is Spring days .. this is a shaded image and it just made me look good... On my card i used copper metallic look paper, and also green metallic look paper... the back ground paper .. is from Prima... and it is called color it... and it was fun to color I used tattered angels mists to color it and added  tonic gilding flakes to the paper...
the image was colored with copic markers... than I tore it and added distress inks and some copper gilding flakes

I also added a foil ribbon to the background... this was created by using double sided tape and using tonic gold and copper gilding flakes... I also did this to the  butterfly  I also added some red tonic nuvo drops to the butterfly.

the flower started out a white paper flower.. to which I added tattered angel spray and  tonic gilding flakes.

Today for the challenge at Scrapbook stamp society ... the challenge is Butterflies.. and what do  butterflies like but flowers   so I picked an image with a flower... the image is img957... I colored the image with copic markers... I was watching a crafting show they said a good color combo was teal, orange and gray... so Had to give it a try... and yes I like the combo... my dies are from Spellbinders, memory  box and  I cannot think of the other one... the flowers are from prima... and I am having fun using a metal look card stock... this one is teal... the butterfly was made from the left over foil piece from the hummingbird... thanks for stopping by

Today on Outlawz the challenge is to use embossing heat or dry...and our sponsor is Morgans Art world.. my image is called Garden 9... I colored the image with a combination of copic markers and   fine line pens by Steller.. these are really great for detailed coloring... I used I embossing folder from  Cuttlebug and  the frame die is from tattered lace and the humming bird die is from Cheery lynn designs...
I used foil on the butterfly and tonic nuvo drops on the vase...
I also did some heat embossing with Frantage..
